The Citroën C-Elysée Automatic Gear Box is a compact “three-box” sedan designed specifically for markets that prioritize durability, affordability, and interior space. Originally launched in 2012, it was built to handle tough road conditions in regions like Eastern Europe, North Africa, and China. It is the mechanical twin of the Peugeot 301; both cars share the same platform and engines.
Despite its compact exterior, it offers a long wheelbase (2.65m) which provides extra legroom for rear passengers and a massive 506-liter boot. It is most commonly found with the 1.2 PureTech (petrol) or the highly efficient 1.6 BlueHDi (diesel), the latter being a favorite for high-mileage drivers and taxi fleets. It focuses on essentials. Post-2017 facelift models feature a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
